Flash games troubleshooting

You're probably here because of one of the problems described below. Make sure your device meets the following requirements first.

- You should have the latest Flash player installed, check your version HERE, or download it from HERE just to be on the safe side.
- The games are made for the browsers, some browsers have better Flash support and performance, eg. FireFox or Chrome are the best. If you're having a serious problem with your current browser try one of those. IE has been reported not to load games properly or at all, blocks Flash content, etc. I've experienced those issues myself.

If the game is played with a keyboard and you can't move the main character, it means that you lost focus. You probably clicked on the page somewhere outside of the game with your mouse. In that case, you should click on the game with your mouse and the focus will be restored. After clicking you can move mouse outside, if you want to. The best approach would be to just wait after you've clicked start button on the main menu.

Performance

Flash player might work slow for you if you have a slow computer or a poor video card. Even if you got both of those problems, there are a couple of things you can do to improve performance of the Flash game, without actually buying a new computer or a new graphic card.

- You can turn off the music by clicking the blue note icon located in the top left corner on the main menu page. You will eventually get sick of the music anyway. This will give you extra frames per second and the overall performance will be better. This is the best performance improvement you can get from within the game. Some games will have 'quality' option in the main menu. In that case you can seriously improve the performance by changing that option from high to low.
- If you right click with your mouse on the flash game, a menu will open and you will see a bunch of options. You should click on 'Settings...'. If the 'Enable hardware acceleration' is turned on and the game is running slow, you should definitely turn it off, as your hardware doesn't support it. If it was turned off, you should try with the option turned on. Don't forget to restart the browser just in case.
