SpeedFighter is something quite special. The game started as a prototype for a 360 degree shooter / shmup for die hard fans and players, I wanted to make for quite some time, and ended up being a fun little shooter and obstacle avoiding game for everyone, including the most casual gamers of all times! If you like playing those little handheld casual games, you'll love this one, with an exception that your head and / or eyes won't hurt because of the larger screen, obviously.

Let me tell you something about the gameplay. You fly the spacecraft in a with limited ability to manoeuvre. Basically you can go left right and shoot not crossing the boundaries of the lane you fly over. Along the way you must avoid obstacles that come your way, as well as, avoid or shoot down moving enemies. Can you reach the end of the lane and collect the prize?

Controls are very simple and deliberately made to be clickable with the left mouse button. You got left, right and fire controls located at the bottom of the screen. Hovering over each and clicking it, will execute the appropriate action. If you're used to playing games for handheld devices with a touchscreen, you won't have any problems. The game features intense action, nice retro graphics and effects, captivating music. I may improve the game some more before releasing it for the flash games licenses.

SpeedFighter is available for non-exclusive licensing, which can be a custom or a regular Flash Game License. This also means that the advanced or enhanced PC version of SpeedFighter probably won't be developed.
